Abstract
This article presents the application of the Internet of Things (IoT), as a technological tool for the development of a wireless sensor network with the objective of monitoring a set of environmental variables that affect the cultivation and production of coffee. The logical and physical design of the devices is presented, in addition the future implantation of the sensor network in a given area is proposed, in a future development the collection of information of the environmental variables of said crop is considered to be compared with a series of parameters already established, which allows coffee to observe the behavior of variable variables in a period of time and establish the generation of alerts or warnings when these measurements are outside the established ranges.
